“I’m a fan of polymers, or plastics. From the small building blocks provided by nature – oil, biomass – , we create useful and beautiful materials. However, the plastic litter and plastic soup give plastic a bad name. Profilex demonstrates that it’s feasible to reuse plastic film. With this, we want to inspire and show what’s possible. Will we then really solve the ‘problem’ of plastic film? Well. that also depends on our willingness, technological progress and our capacity to sort and further process these thin plastic films. It’s time for the next step!”
