“Designing is all about looking five years into the future. What will the world look like then? Trying to find solutions to the questions we face is what drives me. Lightyear 0 is proof to the world that our car works. It uses roughly half the energy of other electric cars over the same distance at the same speed. For an average user (30 km daily) in southern Spain, all the car’s energy needs are provided by the sun -in the Netherlands it’s about half. The Lightyear 0 has a great impact on sustainability, easing the pressure on our electricity supplies.”
