“I make brain chips for blind people; that’s how I often describe my work. With my background in software and electrical engineering, I especially enjoy working on projects to help people with disabilities that stem from something going wrong in the brain. INTENSE works by taking over a task that an able person would do naturally. By working on this chip, I aim to make the brain more accessible to those in the field of prosthetics, and to help other research scientists work on developments that can really help people.”
