“Plants have fascinated me for years. In the wild, they’re often really connected underground by root systems, sharing nutrients. If one plant is ill, another comes to the rescue. Plants can also ‘see’: they can identify other specimens of their species. It’s amazing how that works. I want to take people into that, to explore how we can use technical solutions to make the relationship between plants and people stronger.”
