What happens to all batteries that end up disposed? The focus of Team CORE’s project is to answer that question. Our team investigates opportunities to recycle batteries and battery-suspected materials. To transform this toxic waste stream into safe plastic and valuable metals like lithium, batteries need to be shredded. Until now there was no machine that could attempt to do this. That is until Team CORE came along to solve the issue by presenting our new Battery Shredder: CORE Titan.
