Distant Futures – What’s your story?

What’s going to happen in, say, 50-100 years? By speculating more, at all levels of society, and exploring alternative scenarios, we can start looking at what may become reality. In this Generation Z-focused design project, we use storytelling to stimulate these digital natives to envisage nature-centered and technology-centered distant futures. Distant Futures combines a large illustration landscape that people physically enter via a digital platform. The landscape then sketches these future nature and technology concepts on a spectrum in a future city, where ‘man is part of nature’.
