Office Agents

How can intuitive technology contribute to a healthy workplace? In the FITT project, the team tackles the issue of vitality at work. Smart buildings are full of sensors, continually measuring and adjusting the office environment. However, can office workers access and use this data? The FITT team present Office Agents, a set of desktop artefacts that senses characteristics of the office environment. Air quality, sound level, light exposure, productivity, and physical activity are measured to equip office employees with feedback on ’optimal’ working conditions.
