The Grass Garment

The Grass Garment explores how we might collaborate with grass as a nonhuman co-designer, from a more-than-human perspective. With traditional paper making technique, grass from the Karpendonkse Plas in Eindhoven, and grass seeds, this jacket has a clear before-life and it is designed for an after-life. It can be composted to fuel new life, or grow new grass for a greener world, aiming to inspire designers to consider their designs’ complete journey and impact.
