Laina is a shape-changing art piece presenting tangible running route data through a slow feedback mechanism.
Laina is a shape-changing art piece presenting tangible running routes over a minimum of one day. People often feel good after running, but this euphoria and pride fade away quickly. Laina aims to prolong these positive feelings by pushing pins one by one against the skin, thus reminding the user of the route. This abstract and intimate feedback goes beyond numbers and performance, triggering a longer reflection on the run.
